Some things I've built
ColorFetcher
Born out of my own frustration with cluttered, ad-heavy color picker tools – and since grown into a small palette studio. Drop or paste an image to extract a clean palette, grab any pixel with a magnified loupe, preview your colors on a live UI mockup, generate Tailwind-style shade scales, check WCAG contrast, and export to CSS, PNG, PDF or Adobe swatches – or share a palette as a plain link. Still a single static HTML file with vanilla JS: fast, free, no signup, no ads, and your images never leave the browser. A small pleasure to use, and to make.
Bulk QR Code Generator
A weekend build to remove the friction of creating hundreds of QR codes at once: paste a list of URLs – or drop a CSV/XLSX – and download them all in a single ZIP, with custom colors, backgrounds, logos, dot styles and PNG/JPG/SVG output. It started with ChatGPT in VS Code, then I rebuilt it end-to-end with Claude Code. It's one static HTML page, so every code is generated in your browser and no URL ever leaves your device. I also explored tracking traffic without cookies using GoatCounter.
Instagram Grid Planner
A no-signup, ad-free Insta grid planner for my photography account. I couldn't find a clean tool that did exactly what I wanted, so I built one and embedded it right into my portfolio site: drag photos into place with SortableJS, then export the finished grid as an image with one click. The takeaway: with AI's help, I can spin up tiny, purpose-built tools faster than hunting for generic SaaS.
ArtRoomMockups
A lean product: one polished PSD that lets artists drop their work into realistic rooms. I sold it via a clean one-page site with Stripe and Mailgun – near-zero costs and a fast launch. The honest lesson: although there were several customers, many buyers wanted custom rooms; handling those bespoke requests in my evenings didn't scale, so I decided to sunset it.
